Where has Ryan Lau Photography Gone?

Hello to all!

A lot of you are probably saying “Where the heck is this guy? Is he still shooting weddings?”. YES I AM! 2011 has proved to be a very successful year. Almost every weekend is dedicated to creating amazing and fun photos for my clients.  So the next obvious question is “Why haven’t you been posting any of these weddings since its been such an amazing year?”. I’ve been holding back on content for two reasons.  The first being that I have been incredibly busy. All of my time has been focused on delivering photos to my clients in a timely manner. A lot of work is put into editing and selecting files and it can become overwhelming if you don’t keep up! The second reason has gotten me extremely excited!!! I have been saving content for… WAIT FOR ITTTTTT………

———>REVERIE STUDIOS <———

What is Reverie Studios? It is a new collaboration between myself and two other extremely experienced and talented wedding photographers in Toronto. After a year of planning and development we have finally launched our new brand and products. As I said before it has gotten very difficult to keep up with so many bookings and weekends of work.  Reverie ensures a high level of quality and service is maintained. So what does this mean for Ryan Lau Photography? I will no longer be booking under my own name any longer as I am now Partner/Photographer for Reverie. For those of you who have seen me in action or gotten my name from a friend, feel free to ask about my availability and I will be more than happy to shoot with you!

“So what’s in it for me as a client?”

  1. Two LEAD PHOTOGRAPHERS rather than one lead and an assistant (they don’t just hold lightstands and wipe my face with a rag when I’m sweating…)
  2. Attention to detail in your photos beyond your imagination (yes more so than your local accountant!)
  3. New products/services Ryan Lau Photo has not been able to provide due to the lack of staff (yes I am only one man… Not superman)
  4. Follow the happy faces to the Reverie link to find out more =) =) =) =) =) =) Reverie Studios  <– Yes I am that excited and happy about it

Stay tuned and check into Reverie for updates and the launch of our new blog!

You can reach me at my current ryan[AT]ryanlauphotography.ca orrrrr ryan[AT]reveriestudios.ca

I would like to say Thank You to all of the support and love I’ve gotten over the past few years in developing my skills and business.  I LOVE shooting and I LOVE working with amazing clients. This is my passion and I will continue doing it as long as I am able to see! Ohhh and I guess as long as I can walk and use my trigger finger too =p

C + V – Married

Hi All,

The 2011 season is starting to get really busy! Everything is coming together and I hope to have a great start.  As you all have noticed I have had issues updating the blog recently.  There are some big changes starting to happen with ryanlauphotogaphy so please stay tuned for updates.

Anyways back on topic! Christine and Vijay are two very different people. Vijay, being very quiet and observant and Christine being bubbly and always laughing. It is their differences that make them so perfect for one another. Their families were another perfect example of how to bring together differences races and cultures.  The love and respect from each and every family member just showed in their faces. Did I mention they all know how to make a wedding fun? Check out the father daughter dance that Christine and her father had put together.  Two words to describe it, LOVE and FUN.

Thanks to Sam from samobeid.com for helping me out!

J + G – Married (highlights)

Jingjing and Graham had a really unique wedding that was held downtown at The National Club.  It was a very interesting venue with lots of history. Within the building are numerous conference rooms which seem to span across a few football fields! The mixture of classy interiors and elegance radiating from the couple made for a great and memorable day.

Christina + Oscar – Married

I have finally found some time to start blogging again.  Sorry folks for being so MIA the past few weeks. I will be working my way backwards from what I’ve shot this past summer since I didn’t have time to do so earlier on.  You may remember Christina and Oscar from earlier this year.  They were extremely fun and exciting to shoot for.  Their love and personality easily shows itself in their photos. They had a small and personal wedding here in Toronto and flew back home to set up for their second wedding!  I can’t imagine the work that comes with planning two weddings, however how amazing must it be to be able to celebrate your day not once but twice!

Sasha + Zoltan – Married (Teaser)

Sasha and Zoli were two great people to work with.  Their wedding was full of small details that made for a very meaningful day. From the cake made by the family to the decorations.  Here is a small Teaser from their special day.  I apologize for the lack of posts, however the wedding season is coming to an end and best is definitely to come so please keep visiting! =)
