Carie & Gary – Lakeshore Fun

Carie and Gary are two that met way back in high school.  They recently got engaged during a trip to Paris where Gary decided it was time to make things official.  Both very career driven and supportive of each other’s hopes and dreams they go together very well.  Action does speak louder than words and I think this is the best way to describe their love.

Serlina & Brendan – Old friends

I’ve known Brendan for just over 10 years and was introduced to Serlina in grade 12 when they first met.  Who would have thought after 10 years of friendship I’d see him get engaged.  It seems like yesterday when we used to hang out and play video games or hang out at different tea shops. I was more than happy to shoot some photos of their engagement.

Jenny & Johnson – Mandarin/Cantonese together

Back in May I had the opportunity to shoot Janny and Johnson.  I had met Jenny in grade 10 from a mutual friend. Years later she got engaged to Johnson and asked me to shoot their wedding.  It was a traditional Chinese wedding which started with games the groom had to play in order to see his wife to be.  The traditional tea ceremony was performed prior to the western wedding ceremony.   It was a good time as always with lots of colours and culture. Thanks to Spencer for coming out and assisting.

Christina & Oscar – Culture Overload

I had the pleasure of spending some time with Christina & Oscar these past few weeks.  If you didn’t get to see their engagement photos you are in for a treat!  They photograph beautifully! Christina comes from a very diverse background, growing up in Sweden but keeping her Hakka (a fusion of Indian and Chinese) roots.  Oscar, with Swedish blood will add a third ethnicity to the family.

Here is a little teaser that will hopefully be a small taste of what’s to come!
